ABOUT US
Small Beginnings...
My names Mike and I'm the owner of Invicta Aromas; a brand proudly born in Warrington within the heart of Cheshire. All products are made within our candle studio in small batches to ensure quality is met at every stage of the production process. With us being officially Established in 2025, you may be forgiven for believing we're new to the world of home fragrance and the art of candle making.

Prior to launching Invicta Aromas, I actually had a lot of experience in crafting wax melts, fragranced home & beauty products along with resin creations for a local craft company also based in Cheshire; but I realised that Candles were my main passion. Over the years I was tired of seeing every brand offering the same identical low cost low quality items. Its here that I wanted to create something different...a luxury candle company that didn't charge the Earth. High quality products with reasonable prices, fully affordable and within reach of the average consumer.

Its well known that the home fragrance market is very saturated, so its important to stand out. From here I decided to focus on customisable candles and bespoke creations; but knew that wax melts were a very popular product. This led me to offering these products but with added benefits for customers. Jelly melts and wax tarts offer ease of cleanup for customers; which is often a gripe with traditional wax melts in a burner, while scoopies offer a fun alternative with easy portioning, meaning less waste.

The customer is at the heart of what we do and that's why all our items are fully customisable to your exact specification. We love to be innovative, so you'll regularly see new product ranges and bespoke creations; defying the expectations of what a simple candle can be.

So come on in, and embrace luxury fragrance in your home. We guarantee you'll love us from first burn to the last.

Thank you for your support,
Mike.

A Simple Philosophy...
Here at Invicta Aromas, we believe that candles are far more than just a source of light...they're an experience. This is why we handcraft each product with care and attention to detail, no matter how big or small the order.

All our products are made using the finest sourced ingredients. We also test all of our fragrances to ensure their scent throw is strong and robust no matter the product; only using premium grade certified oils, thus guaranteeing you a luxurious aroma experience.

We like to know that we are doing our part for the environment, which is why our products consist of recyclable or reusable packaging as much as possible, and we have a strict policy on no palm oil or palm derived ingredients.

All our ingredients are clean burning and lead free; and maybe most important of all...never tested on animals.

Did you know we even offer a reusable container programme? Return your metal candle tin or glass jar to be refilled for your next candle and receive a £1 discount. Simple, and helps the environment, while saving you a few pennies in the process.

We source our ingredients direct from the manufacturers, cutting out the middle man which adds inflated overheads to production. This is how we can provide you with luxury products without the over the top luxury price tag.

CANDLE SAFETY
Our candles are made for you to enjoy; filling your space with beautiful aromas; however some of our candles are designed purely for aesthetic/decorative purposes. This is mostly the product types that you'll find under our Creations range. The reason for this is their artistic design and some of the materials used. For example we may use low density jelly wax (we use high density for our jelly melts so they're ok for melting!) or put decorations in which are not suitable for melting such as shells, sand and resin objects. If a candle is to be used for decorative purposes only, this will be made clear prior to purchase.

For all other products which you may light/melt, please see our safety information below:
Candles - First Burn Before lighting your candle, ensure it is placed on a flat stable surface; ideally one which is heat resistant; or on a candle plate. A candle plate is particularly important for freestanding pillar candles, to collect any wax that drips. Light your candle, ensuring it is in a well-ventilated space and away from flammable objects and materials. Always to remember to blow your candle out or use a candle snuffer when leaving the room or going to sleep.
Candles - Ongoing Use When not in use, store your candle in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, dust and UV lights. This will prevent the candle from fading, cracking or melting in intense sunlight. Before you light the candle again, we usually recommend that the wick is trimmed so it sits 1-2cm above the top of the remaining wax. This will help to create an even flame. We recommend you don't burn your candles for more than 4 hours at a time. For smaller candles this needs to be reduced accordingly.
Candles - Generic Safety Keep out of reach from children and pets at all times; especially once lit. Light your candles away from flammable objects such as curtains, flowers and paper. Ensure that clothing and other fabrics are kept away from the candle both when lighting and once lit. Do not touch the flame of the candle or the molten wax; as this has the potential to cause severe burns. After extinguishing your candle, do not touch the wick as it may remain hot. Do not attempt to touch the wax or move the candle for at least 1 hour after extinguishing. This give chance for the wax to cool and solidify; thus eliminating the chance of spillages, burns or covering the wick.
Melt Products - First Use For the first burn of a Melt product, please ensure that you have a suitable vessel for melting wax. This can either be a traditional tealight burner or an electric burner. Always check electric burners to ensure they are in full working order before using. Before lighting the tealight if using a traditional burner or switching on your electric burner, ensure it is placed on a flat stable surface; ideally one which is heat resistant; or on a candle plate. Light your candle or switch on your burner, ensuring it is in a well-ventilated space and away from flammable objects and materials. Always to remember to blow your tealight out or use a candle snuffer when leaving the room or going to sleep. For electric burners, they are somewhat safe to leave on if you leave the room, however should never be left unattended for long periods of time such as going to sleep or leaving the house.
Melt Products - Ongoing Use When not in use, store your candle burner in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, dust and UV lights. This will prevent the wax from melting, sweating or from fading. It is perfectly acceptable to leave the wax once solidified in the burner, however it can be removed if required. Before you melt your wax again, we advise checking that your burner is still in working order and is not showing signs of cracking or damage. We recommend you don't burn your wax melts for more than 4 hours at a time.
Melt Products - Cleanup: If your wax melt no longer has any scent or you just wish to swap it out for a new fragrance then you can remove it in solid or liquid form. To remove the wax from a burner while in solid form, use a cocktail stick, lollipop stick or a spoon to loosen it from the edges of the well and pull it out. If the wax still has scent and you wish to reuse then store it in a dry cool place, ideally in a plastic tub to avoid moisture and sweating. If you wish to remove it while in liquid form, we advise using gloves to protect your hands. We find that cotton balls or cotton pads to soak up the wax are an excellent option. Simply drop the cotton into the liquid wax. You can move this around the well using a stick to ensure maximum absorption.
Melt Products - Generic Safety: Keep out of reach from children and pets at all times; especially once in liquid form. Light your wax melt burners away from flammable objects such as curtains, flowers and paper. Ensure that clothing and other fabrics are kept away from the tealights both when lighting and once lit, including the wax well. Do not touch the flame of the tealight or the molten wax; as this has the potential to cause severe burns. After extinguishing your tealight or turning off the electric burner, do not touch the wax as it may remain hot and in liquid form for an extended period of time. Do not attempt to touch the wax for at least 1 hour after extinguishing. This give chance for the wax to cool and solidify; thus eliminating the chance of spillages and burns.
Jelly Wax - Important Safety Information: Jelly wax is technically not a wax but a mixture of mineral oils and polymer resin. It therefore has a lot higher melting temperature ( >90C) than traditional wax and if not handled correctly it can lead to severe burns. Only certain fragrances with a high flash point can be used with jelly wax. Never add your own fragrances and oils to jelly wax as this can present a fire hazard. Always use Jelly wax in a well ventilated area as it can potentially give off fumes. Never attempt to clean up while in liquid form. Wait until it reaches solid form and it can be simply peeled off the wax burner. This can be in as little as 10 minutes after extinguishing due to its high melt and congealing point. If you notice smoking of the wax then turn off the burner or extinguish the tealight immediately and open windows to ventilate the space. Failure to do so or bringing it in contact with sparks can cause spontaneous combustion.
